بانگەوازێک بۆ یونسکۆ

The widespread disruption of education due to students’ intentional absenteeism for weeks has become a deeply rooted issue that demands urgent intervention. Kurdistan remains one of the few regions where this phenomenon continues to escalate. Across multiple universities in the Kurdistan Region, undergraduate students abandon lecture halls for weeks without any legitimate justification, turning this behavior into an increasingly accepted norm.

I urge Mr. Paolo Fontani (hashtag#UNESCO-Iraq's Country Director) to form a committee next week to monitor multiple universities in the KRI. Any university where undergraduate students are found deliberately absent should be placed under strict investigation. If this pattern has persisted for the last two years, the university should be denied the organization's recognition. It is alarming that courses requiring 14 lectures are being reduced to just 6-8 lectures, including examinations. A strict policy must be enforced: any student who has attended fewer than 12 lectures in a course should have their certificate denied as valid proof for global accreditation.

لێرەدا داوا لە بەڕێز (پاولۆ فۆنتانی بەڕێوەبەری یونسکۆ لە عیراق) دەکەم کەوا لیژنەیەک بۆ هەفتەی داهاتوو پێک بهێنێت و چاودێری چەند زانکۆیەک بکات. هەر زانکۆیەک خوێندکارەکانی لەوێ نەبوون، یەکسەر بیخاتە لیستی ڕەش و ئیعترافی ڕیکخراوەکەی لێ بسەنێتەوە. بەڕاستی جێگەی داخە، کە لە ١٤ محازەرە کە لە کۆڕسێک دەبێت بخوێنرێت، تەنها ٦-٨ دانەی دەخوێنرێت و دواتر دەڵێن بوین بە ئەندازیار یاخود دکتۆر. مەرجێک دابنێن، هەر خوێندکارێک لەهەر بابەتێکی ئەکادیمی کەمتر لە ١٢ محازەرەی لە کۆڕسێک خوێندبێت، ئیعترافی ڕێکخراوەکە لە زانکۆکە بسەنرێتەوە. یەکسانی بروانامەی بۆ نەکرێت لە زانکۆکانی دەرەوەی هەرێمی کوردستان.

من و ئێوە گرەوێک دەکەین، ئەگەر بەیەک سیگناڵی یونسکۆ سەرۆک زانکۆ و بەشەکان لە هۆڵی محازەرەکان لەجیاتی خوێندکارەکان دانەنیشتن، و هەمووانیان نەهێناوە هۆڵەکانی خوێندن بە ٢ ڕۆژ، گلەییتان بێت.
